Overview
The PET (Pile Echo Tester) uses the Pulse-Echo method (PEM) for a quick pile integrity test (quality control) on a site with a large number of piles.
A pile test starts when the pile top is struck with a lightweight handheld hammer. The reflected wave is captured and analyzed by the PET's digital accelerometer to provide information regarding the length and shape of the pile. [ Overview of this test method ] [ How to perform a pile integrity test using PET? ]
The PET is fully compliant with ASTM D5882-16: Standard Test Method for Low Strain Impact Integrity Testing of Deep Foundations and AFNOR P160-2,4 standard for pile integrity testing as well as additional standards.
The PET device can connect to your MS-Windows portable PC or with the Bluetooth version to your Android smartphone or tablet.
The PET package includes all software versions, for PC and for Android.
Additional features:
- Fully customizable reports: Full control over report columns and rows, fonts, logo and much more.
- Includes comprehensive project-management features such as breaking a project into sub-sites, sorting, counting and much, much more.
- 10 years of free software updates
- Interpretation assistance package (Included)
- Dual time domain/frequency domain analysis
ANOTHER PRODUCT
he CHUM (Cross Hole Ultrasonic Monitor) uses the Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) method to perform high-resolution quality control of deep foundations.
The system uses an ultrasonic wave sent from a transmitter to a receiver pulled through water-filled access tubes embedded in the concrete. The measured arrival time and energy are strongly dependent on concrete quality. [ overview of this test method ] [ How to test a pile using the cross-hole ultrasonic method? ]
Additional methods supported by the CHUM are Single Hole Ultrasonic Testing (SSL/SHUT) and Tomography (two- and three-dimensional).
The CHUM is fully compliant to ASTM D6760 - 16, AFNOR NF P 94-160-1 and additional standards
